At the point where the Paris-Bordeaux and Nantes-Lyon routes meet, the TOURS-SAINT-PIERRE-DES-CORPS railway station takes full advantage of the success of the TGV Atlantique offering an everincreasing number of reliable connections with the capital: 16 return TGV trips per day, taking you to the Gare Montparnasse in the centre of Paris, in less than an hour.

For several years, the TGV railway network has given Touraine the possibility of a direct link to other towns in the Ile-de-France area (Massy and its prestigious colleges, Marne-la-Vallée ans its park dedicated to Disneyland Paris ) and a gateway to the whole world with its Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport service, not forgetting the southeast of France with the Mediterranean TGV. Marseille is now 4:50 hours from Tours/St-Pierre-des-Corps, 2:50 from Lyon, 3:00 hours from the great cities of the north like Lille, 3:30 hours from Brussels and 4:00 from London.

And last of all, you will have no trouble exploring all the many tourist treasures in the Loire Valley by just taking the TER Centre trains and coaches, as the Tours/St-Pierre-des-Corps station is aslo the centre of a wide railway network leading in all directions.
